WELCOME TO LITTLE COMPTON BOWLS CLUB.
Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds on the borders of Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire we are one of the oldest established and friendliest bowls clubs in the area. Within this picturesque village of Little Compton the club enjoys a unique outlook in a beautiful village setting.
We are proud of our reputation for welcoming members of all ages and levels of ability. Some of our younger players have represented England and others compete regularly for our county of Warwickshire. Others just enjoy the social aspect of bowling at club level against other clubs in the area.
During the last two years Little Compton Bowls Club have undertaken major improvements including new toilets, kitchen, bar and other internal furnishings plus new and much needed changing rooms and viewing area. We have also been provided with new indoor multifunctional games table, kitchen appliances, short mat equipment which will complement our existing pool table, darts board etc. Whilst providing these new facilities we have been mindful of our responsibility to provide ease of access for all by providing ramps, handrails, additional lighting etc.
As the social hub of Little Compton and surrounding areas we can provide a full diary of events throughout the summer bowling season AND the winter, and all serviced by a well-stocked bar.
These facilities have been financed by club fundraising events, Crowdfunding, and grants from Sport England, the National Lottery and the Co-op.
So not only are we a bowls club but we are a social hub too catering for everyone, Summer or Winter.
We know how daunting it can be walking into any well-established bowls club but we can guarantee you a very warm welcome and free coaching lessons for all.
